CSE- Intelectium 2019-Report

The department of Computer Science and Engineering organized INTELECTIUM ’19, a national level technical symposium on 8th and 9th March 2019. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr.A.Arunya Revathi Assoc.Professor/ACGCET Karaikudi addressed the gathering on the importance of employment details in various field regaridng private and public sectors.

30 candidates from various college in and arround Madurai registered for INTELECTIUM 2019. 13 papers were presented on various topics like Network Security, Cyber Crime, Data Mining and 5G Technology etc., Several technical events were organised to the partcipants and winners of each event are listed below

S. Subash and P.M. Sugesh of FMCET college secured the I prize of cash award Rs.750.

N. Hariharan and S. Ashok Kumar of SIT secured the II prize of cash award Rs.500.

Rise N Shine : Fresher's Fest 2018

Fresher’s Party was organised by Rise N Shine members to welcome the new comers in educational institutions.The 20th of september was marked as a memorable day in the life of every Fresher at Vickram College of Engineering.The day started with the welcome address proposed by Mr.Vishaal Sivakumar of IV year Mechanical Engg. Mr.Sivanesh of IV MechanicalEngg gave a very good explanation , importance and uniqueness of all the  departments. Nandhini, Kavitha, Riyaz,Parthasarathy, Vishwa, Nawaz, Kalaivani,anath,Keerthana of (RNS) took the show with fun filled games for the first year students.The day was filled with talent, music, excitement and enthusiasm.Mr.Balaji Ganesh of final year Civil Engineering interacted with the juniors about Engineering,practical exposure, training methods,how to shape the life and career for a challenging world , building characters etc..

First year Students came to know about the RISE N SHINE Club and also about various clubs like IET,NEN, YI-YUVA, NSS, ROTARACT etc.

Senior students wished all the first year students for the successful completion of their course in our esteemed Institution and also presented a sapling for each student .The fresher's fest came to an end by Ms.Kalaivani (IV ECE) concluding the Vote of thanks.

32nd Corporate Voice

The 32 nd Corporate Voice for II and III year students was conducted on 19 February 2019 in Ramanajum Conference hall at 3.30pm. Ms.N.Priyanka Vasan Placement Co-ordinator welcomed the gathering and Principal Dr.T.Arivoli facilitated the Speaker with the momento. The session was graced by Mr.S.Jayasingh who have a depth experience in Plastics business, PP Non woven fabric and material business with a total experience of 36 years in marketing and sales. Mr.Jayasingh is an inspirational and motivational speaker. He encouraged the students with real life success stories of achievers like Mr. Honda, Founder of Honda Cars and motors, Mr.Sarath Babu, Entrepreneur. He also added many more incidents, struggles faced by leading personalities in and around the world. With these real life success stories Mr.Jayasingh was able to guide the students on how to meet the challenges and move forward in life . He insisted more on the following points

  • Believe in God

  • Be self Motivated

  • Do not worry on past experiences

  • Think positive and energise everyday activities

The entire session was very interesting. Finally he insisted to inculcate good thoughts from internet and use them effectively in future

31 st Corporate Voice

31st corporate voice for all the final year and prefinal year students was conducted on 21st september 2018 in the Ramanajum conferance hall at 11.00AM.Sibi Karthick of III MECH welcomed the gathering and also introduced the chief guest Mr.S.MADHAN GOPI.Our dynamic director Shri. Vijay Shrenivas honoured the chief guest.  Our honourable Principal Dr.S.Umamaheswaran delivered the presidential address and also emphasized the importance of corporate voice.The guest speaker for the corporate voice was Mr.S.Madhan Gopi who is currently working as probationary officer in the Canara Bank , Kerala. It is very proud to reveal that he was our alumnus completed his UG (MECHANICAL) in the year2014.He gave valuable speech on "How to crack the competitive exams".He stressed the importance of time management to clear the UPSC, TNPSC, IBPS , RRB,SSC etc. He also motivated and encouraged the students with his life experiences . The students interacted with him a lot.It was really a wonderful session . Finally Tulasiram of III MECH proposed the vote of thanks.
