Safety Rules While Driving Mechanized Vehicle

To keep you safe and help you avoid accidents While Driving:-

  1. Always carry your original driving license and important documents such as your vehicle registration certificate, insurance certificate, road tax token with you while driving.

  1. Obey all traffic signals, lights and signs and always stop before the STOP LINE at traffic intersections when you see a red traffic light or the Policeman signals you to stop.

  1. Use the indicator or hand signals when manoeuvring the vehicle.

  1. Obey the permitted speed limit at all times.

  1. Never pass a stopped vehicle displaying a stop sign to its left; that's a signal that children are crossing the street.

  1. If you hear a siren coming behind you, it’s an indication that a police or fire truck or an ambulance is speeding by you, toward an emergency. If it is safe, pull to the side, stop and wait until the vehicle goes by.

  1. Horn honking is reserved for emergencies. It's considered rude to use your horn for any other situation.

  1. Completely stop at stop signs and look for other drivers and pedestrians before you cross.

  1. Take care when parking your vehicle. Don't park in prohibited areas.

  2. Avoid drinking and driving as it kills people.

11. As weather can't be controlled, you control during changed weather by staying alert.

12. Don't tailgate as it makes it more likely you'll smash into the front vehicle.

13. Don't use your cell phone while driving. If you must, move to the left, halt and then talk.

14. Be considerate to pedestrians especially senior citizens, handicapped, ladies and children.

15. Do not overload your vehicles - be it luggage or passengers.

16. Do not use tinted glasses, lenses or visors or anything that restricts vision at night.

17. Wear seat belts while driving a Car and Helmet while driving a Two-Wheeler.

18. Always drive using the correct gear.

AMCAT Employability Test

AMCAT is an acronym for Aspiring Mind's Computer Adaptive Test. AMCAT is employability assessment test which focuses on entry level jobs for freshers. It is a fresher's job test which helps fresh graduates to signal their employability and find suitable jobs. AMCAT offers detailed employability feedback report based on the most credible employment test along with highlighting job openings for freshers. Students can search for sector specific jobs like IT freshers jobs through AMCAT. AMCAT works with 520+ corporates helping them source valuable talent and helping freshers locate job vacancies and aid them in finding suitable entry level jobs in India.

Advantages of taking AMCAT

AMCAT has numerous advantages not even for the job seekers but also for the recruiters.

Advantages of AMCAT for the Jobseekers

1. AMCAT is held at a national level, so job seekers from anywhere in India can participate in this test.

2. There are numerous of companies accepting AMCAT score, hence job seekers have a large pool of recruiters to demonstrate their calibre and skills. Candidates can appear for the selection tests of several companies at one time instead of just separately appearing for each one of them.

3. The reputation of the college does not count when you appear for AMCAT. Selection to jobs is based on the AMCAT score and profile and not the reputation of your college.

4. Another important thing about AMCAT is, even if a candidate does not secure a very good score in AMCAT, he/she still has chances to be absorbed in good firms. This is based on a fact that not every company is looking out for toppers from reputed colleges. There may be companies who might not give too much weightage to the score in the test but may have more weightage for the skill set you have and your profile might just fit into their requirement. So through AMCAT there are jobs for all from toppers to less proficient candidates.

AMCAT Score and validity

There would be a score for  in AMCAT but what's different here is that there are no cut offs or definitions for good score in AMCAT. Since every company has different criteria of employee selection, the score which may be bad for one company can be good for other.

AMCAT score is valid for 3 years. If you re-appear for the test, it would be dependent on the company as to which score they would consider. It could be the first one you obtained, the latest or an average of all your scores so far.
