Blood Donation Camp

A Blood Donation Camp was organized at 10 am in the morning of Wednesday, 21st July, 2010 under the aegis of Youth Red Cross (YRC) jointly with National Service Scheme (NSS). The Principal,Dr.S.Kathirrvelu presided over the programme. Dean,Mr.M.Palanikumar encouraged the students and staff for their active participation.

The Coordinator of NSS MR.A.Poornachandran and the coordinator of YRC Mr.T.Kumaragurubaran initiated the proceedings. More than 50 students registered their interest in donating the blood to mark the occasion. A team of doctors headed by Dr.Krithika MS from Government Hospital,Sivagangai rendered their service for a noble cause. The student Volunteers of NSS and YRC actively took part in the programme with zeal and fervor. It certainly proved their level of commitment and enthusiasm.The programme came to the end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. A. Poornachandran.
