Job Description :

1. Work with the product, custom projects team and developers to understand requirement specifications to understand the product / project details and write out test cases
2. Prepare Test plan, Test cases and test data
3. Setup of test environment along with the support of the system administration team
4. Execute test cases at different stages of the Product Life Cycle Alpha, Beta, Gold
5. Involved in complete test life cycle and having strong understanding of test documents like Test strategy, test estimation, test plan, test case, test reports creation, testability requirements and execution of the test cases
6. Familiar with different types of testing Black Box, White Box, Module, Integration, Performance and Regression
7. Do an analysis of the bugs and provide reports on root cause
8. Trouble shoot and support production issues with little or no assistance
9. Communicate with team members and others to pro-actively resolve issues
10. Provide timely status report to the Manager 

Desired Profile  :

1. B.E/ MCA freshers with 6% throughout with no backlogs
2. Training in manual testing would be an added advantage
