Tablet Software Engineer – Intern  - 707202

Job Description :

Apart from college project work, candidates will help:
- Forecasting and prioritizing customer requirements for current and future platforms
- Replicating, Owning and Driving mission critical customer software issues to closure with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing Intel technology knowledge through technical specifications and marketing communication literature to OEMs
- Responsible for technical activities required for product marketing conferences, demos and trainings

This is a customer facing organization helping Intel OEMs/ODMs with platform system software. Assists in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family. Responsibilities may include: participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials. Works with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions, participates in customers visits, and presentations. Owns creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes. Individuals act as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers. Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications:
Persuing Master’s degree:

1. ME / M.Tech / MS (SW Engg /  IT / Embedded / Telecommunications / Engg. Mgmt / SW Mgmt.)
2. 1 year Internship preferred (June/July’13-May/June’14)

Additional qualifications include:
- Sound technical fundamentals of Computer Architecture, Operating System, software development process, C and/or C++
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Decision making and problem solving
- Developing technical specifications and marketing communication literature to OEMs
- Passion to work with customers (OEMs)
- Stakeholder and conflict management skills
- Interest to travel to conduct business with OEMs around world
- Knowledge of Intel Chipset Graphics would be an added advantage.
