Mr.M Velmurugan and Mr.K.Gogulesh Bakyaraj of IV year ECE (Batch 2013-2017)won Third Prize in Innovative Project Contest 2K16 organized by Innovation Promotion Cell & ISTE students chapter of KLN College of Engineering on 16th Sep'16.

Project Topic : Intelligent Harvesting of Green Energy.

IEI Student Chapter Activities Sep'2016- ECE Report

Department of ECE-IEI student Chapter organized Intra Department Competitions on 10th Sep' 2016 at Vikram Sarabhai Hall from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Competitions included Paper Presentation and Tech Talk. There were nine entries in paper presentation and six entries in Tech Talk. Dr.M.Parisa Beham HOD/ECE, Mr.A.Nagaraj AP/ ECE and Mr.Paunraj AP/EEE were the judges for the events.

Training on Core JAVA Programming for 2013-2017 Batch ECE students

 Department of ECE organizes ten days training on "Core JAVA Programming" for 2013-2017 Batch ECE students from 12.9.16 to 22.9.16 .

The module covers theory and hands-on training in the concepts of Syntax,OOPS, Application Programing Interface, Wrapping classes, file handling, Exception handling, multithreading etc.

Venue:Embedded lab, SivaSubramanian Block.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps-August 16-18, 2016

Vickram College of Engineering in association with Small Industries Product Promotion Organisation (SIPPO), a joint venture of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC, a Govt. of India Enterprise), Tamilnadu Small Industries Development Corporation (TANSIDCO, a  Tamilnadu Govt. Undertaking) is organizing 3-Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EACs) Sponsored by Department of National Science and Technology Govt.of.India from 16.08.2016 to 18.08.2016 at Vickram College of Engineering, Enathi.

 

The Programme aims at promoting entrepreneurship as a career option among students. Students get opportunities to interact with experts and get detailed information on various business opportunities under one roof.

Best paper award for ECE students at SDIP'16

 

Congratulations to IV year ECE students Mr.B.Muthukumar, Mr.K.S.Balakumar and Mr.S.Praveenkumar who won the Best paper Award at the  SDIP 2016, Sixth National  Conference on System Design and Information Processing,  held at K.P.R Institute of Engineering and Technology Coimbatore on 2nd April 2016.

They  Presented a paper titled "Implantable Quad-P structured Microstrip Patch Antenna for Biomedical Application" under the guidance of Asst.Prof.N.Mahalakshmi.

We have 41 guests and no members online
