IMPACT OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS IN INDUSTRIES

A Guest Lecture on "The Impact of  Embedded Systems In Industries" was organised by the Department of  ECE on 1-2-11 at the conference hall  for the Pre-Final and Final year students of ECE. The Resource Person was Ms. Vidya Surenderan, Product Manager, Accel IT Services, Chennai. The programme commenced with the welcome address given by the Principal Dr.S.Kathirrvelu. After that the Resource Person gave her presentation on Embedded System Development and Testing. She updated the students on the latest developments in the field of Embedded System.  She advised the students to choose one particular domain from the II year of engineering itself and concentrate on the same to master it  as this will go in the long run aiding for the project in the Final year. The programme came to the end with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. MS. Krishnan, Department of ECE. Around 150 students and staff participated in this programme and enriched their knowledge and information on Embedded System.
