First aid & Fire Fighting Awareness Programme

A Lecture cum Demo class on Fire Fighting & first Aid Awareness, was coducted for the benefit of the I Year Students, Lab Assts, Teaching Staff, Library staff, Canteen, Hostel, office and Transport staff of Vickram college of Engineering.The details are given below:-

Time & Date : 3.15 pm on 10-02-2011
Venue : Infront of I Year Block

The programme was conducted by Mr.R. Chandra Sekharan, Sr. Lect. of the Training & Placement Department.
Varius types of fires, proper use of the fire extinguishers as per the types of fires, the procedure to be adopted to extinguish an inadvertent fire at the deduction stage itself, and the usage of suitable first aid appliances, when the necessity arises, were discussed. 48 students and 09 teaching and non teaching staff attended.
