Forget Windows: Midori is coming

WINDOWS is a name that has ruled the whole computer world since its first launch in November 1985. Since then it is like a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

With many advanced versions of Windows available today such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, it is the most used operating system in the world. Now here is time to experience a yet another technology of operating systems.
Yes, MICROSOFT is working on a new generation of operating systems called Cloud-Based Operating System and rumors are there that MIDORI will be their first such operating system, which will replace Windows fully from computer map.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

MIDORI is an offshoot of Microsoft Research's Singularity operating system. In this the tools and libraries are completely managed code. MIDORI is designed to run directly on native hardware (x86, x64 and ARM), will be hosted on the Windows Hyper-V hypervisor, or even be hosted by a Windows process.
MIDORI can be also seen as MICROSOFT'S answer those competitors who are applying "Virtualization" as a mean to solving issues within contemporary computing.
The main idea behind MIDORI is to develop a lightweight portable OS which can be mated easily to lots of various applications.

IMPORTANCE OF MIDORI

For knowing the importance of MIDORI you have to think about, how an operating system is loaded on a computer. Actually operating system is loaded onto a hard disk physically located on that machine. In this way, the operating system is tied very tightly to that hardware. As Windows is dependent on hardware, it might face opposition from contemporary ways of working because people are extremely mobile in using different devices in order get diverse information.
Due to this trend installing different applications on a single computer may led to different compatibility issues whenever the machine require updating. The new operating system will solve these problems by the concept of Virtualizing. This will solve problems such as widespread security vulnerabilities, unexpected interactions among different applications, failures caused by errant extensions, plug-ins, and drivers and many more.

ERIC RUDDER, Senior Vice President, Technical Strategy

The importance of this project for MICROSOFT can be understood by the fact that company choose Eric Rudder , former head of Microsoft's server and tools business and a key member of Chairman Bill Gates' faction of the company, to handle it.

WHEN WILL IT BE LAUNCHED

Just Wait and See. Microsoft has not declared any such date about launching of MIDORI, but there are rumors that this project is in incubation phase.

Expensive way of playing marbles-Golf

Golf is a relatively easy sport yet it can still sometimes be difficult to play for some. In principle the game is about striking a small ball using a customized stick with a heavy end some distance and eventually into a small hole.The golfer is equipped with a set of clubs (maximum 14 in total) of varying length, club head density and loft of face, which hit the ball different lengths and heights, and a putter for use on the greens.Most amateurs play the game over 18 holes , using any of a number of game formats. The winner, quite simply, is the player who plays the 72 holes in the fewest shots or strokes.Thanks to SOME GREAT people like Tiger Woods, the PGA, and the LPGA the game of golf has become a REALLY popular pass time for many.

Proof of Life at Titan

In a recent invention it has been found that there is some electrical activity at TITAN, the largest moon of Saturn. After that research, it is a hot matter of discussion in scientific community, whether there is life on Saturn or not.

Previous Beliefs and researches

According to all previous beliefs. It is almost impossible for Life to sustain on Saturn due to its extremely low temperature that is -350 degrees Celsius.

Huygens Mission of NASA

In 2005 Huygens spacecraft was send to study the clouds on Titan. It was the first spacecraft to go there. As soon as Huygens entered in the environment of Titan, force of fast winds turned it to 30 degrees. After this accident, it was not possible for Huygens to find the electrical resonance on Saturn.

Study by Juan Antonio Morente

Prof Juan Antonio Morente of University of Granada, Spain studied data collected by Huygens and found that there are clues that there may be Natural Electrical Field on the surface of Titan. This energy is same as, which started chemical energy on Earth that ultimately lead to the starting of life.

Supported Reasons for this research

It has been found out that the processes that started life on earth are possible at many places in Universe out of which Saturn is one. It has been confirmed that there is a big lake of hydrocarbons on Saturn. So after earth Saturn is the second place with so much liquid present openly. In these situation if lighting occurs at Saturn, then it may lead to the birth of Atoms, which are known as the starting phase of life.

WHAT'S THE ATTITUDE YOU HOLD??

Think you are beaten? Yes, you are;
Think you dare not? Yes, you don't!
If you'd like to win, but you think you can't,
It's almost certain you won't!

Think you'll lose? Indeed, you're lost;
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will;
In the state of mind!!

Think you're outclassed? May be, you are;
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself
Before you’ll ever win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the person who thinks he can!

There's nothing to fear --- you're as good as the best,
And as strong as the mightiest, too.
You can win in every battle or test;
For there's no one just like you.
There's only one you in the world today;
So nobody else, you see,
Can do your work in as fine a way:
You're the only kind!
So face the world, and all life is yours
To conquer and love and live:
And you'll find the happiness that endures
In just the measure you give;
There's nothing too good for you to possess,
Nor heights where you cannot go:
Your power is more than belief or guess ---
It is something you have to know.
There is nothing to dread--- you can and you will.
For you are the invincible you.
Set your foot on the highest hill ---
There's nothing you cannot do!!!

     So, my dear friends- just believe that you are special in your own way, and you are born to succeed & rule!!

Keep going strong!! Advance wishses for your victory!

Thanks for reading! :)

TRUE INSPIRATION LIES WITHIN YOU!!

     Life is tough for those born with a disability; and a catastrophe for those who cannot cope with such an eventuality. Featured here is a list of amazing people all over the world & their inspiration & commitment to attain success.

1. Elvis Presley – In 1954, when the name Elvis Presley was pretty much unheard of, this famous man tried his music on stage and was fired after only one performance. He now will always be the one and only King of Rock and Roll.

2. Michael Jordan– This great athlete went on to become arguably the best basketball player of all time. But very few people know that he was cut from the high school basketball team and he cried over it. He has referred to his failure many times in the past and it is where he has always attributed his success.

3. Albert Einstein – He was not able to speak until he was 4 years old. He did not read until he reached 7 years old. His teachers did not consider him to have a bright future ahead of him. He was considered mentally handicapped by the people around him and at one point, he was even expelled from school. He won the Nobel Prize for Physics for his well known Theory of Relativity, in which he is more known for the equation E=mc^2.

4. Bill Gates – He dropped out of Harvard and set up his business with a partner. Under his management, the business became successful and it is now what we know as Microsoft; and is the second richest person in the world.

5. Marilyn Monroe– She was once wrongly judged as someone who did not have what it takes to be a model. Failing to please some modeling agents, she was even told to just find work as a secretary. She went on to become one of the iconic pillars of beauty as we know it today.

6. J. K. Rowling – She was struggling financially for a number of years while raising her child alone. She was living on welfare given by the government. She went on to write all of the Harry Potter books and now she’s one of the richest people in the world.

7. Thomas Edison – As a young pupil, Thomas Edison was considered by his own teachers to be too stupid to learn anything. And even when he decided to work on inventions, he failed 1000 times before he was able to become successful at creating the first light bulb. And that one light bulb made the difference.

8. Walt Disney– Once upon a time, this man who has been credited for hugely successful theme parks and movies was criticized for having a lack of creativity and imagination. He was not successful as a news writer for a local newspaper. He attempted to build many businesses which failed in the end. And now, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy continually bring him Billions of dollars.

9. Ludwig van Beethoven  – This musician was well known for creating symphonies that are still very much enjoyed in our time. As a child, he wanted to spend most of his time composing. It came to a point that he did not work on his skills as a violinist and as a matter of fact, he neglected practicing. His teachers didn’t see any potential in him. He was able to compose many symphonies and some of his most famous ones were composed when he was already deaf.

10. Michael Dell- The creator of Dell computers, had his first job working in a Chinese restaurant for $2.30 an hour.

11. Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi - The Indian cricket captain from 1962 to 1970, popularly called Tiger Pataudi met with a nasty car accident in the early 1960s resulting in complete loss of vision of his right eye. This was just when he was at the threshold of a great future. He continued playing undeterred by this big blow and went on to not only continue playing the game but also captained the side; and was regarded as one of India’s more successful cricket captains.

12. Hrithik Roshan- Not many know that the mega star has been suffering from a major stuttering problem ever since age 6 and has gone through several painful speech therapy sessions to improve his speech. He continues with speech therapy even now fearing that he may get back to stuttering and incoherent speech.

      The one thing these success stories have in common is that they all embarked on the quest to live a life doing what they loved. They have battled disability and gone on to shine in their respective careers or taken up an alternative one. Hats of to these brave men and women featured here, and those not featured here who live by example. The never-say-die attitude of these brave men and women will always serve as an inspiration for generations to come.

     Dear friends, hope this inspirational information would give you new hopes to face & design a better life!! It’s always better to try & lose than to never try at all: sure, the lessons driven out of it will take you places!! Good luck for your endeavors!

The ornately designed Kievskaya Metro in Moscow

Subways aren't the first things that jump to mind in a discussion of beauty. But there are plenty of breathtaking underground stations - usually of a futuristic bent. Moscow's 1930s subway stations have to be the most ostentatious stopping places in the world. Decked out with the huge chandeliers, vaulted plaster-moulded ceilings, arches and hand-painted frescoes of a state ballroom, expects commuters to break into a spontaneous waltz.
