Can you prove 1 = -1

                 Proof:

                   We Know that,

                        1 = 1*1        à 1

                        1 = -1 * -1    à­­

                        1 = 1             à 3

                    Substituting 1 & 2 in 3

                        1 * 1 = -1 * -1

                   Taking square roots on both sides, we get

                   square root of 1 * square root of 1 =   square root of -1 * square root of -1

                   we know that square root of 1 is 1 & square root of  -1 is i

             \ 1 = i­­­­­2 [since i­­­­­2 = -1]

                               1 = -1.

                           Hence it’s proved.
