"Changing global scenario" - An Invited talk

A Guest Lecture was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 25-2-11 at the conference hall of Vickram College of Engineering for II and Pre-Final year students. The Resource Person was Mr. Srinivas Balu, Managing Director, M/S Raajham Infosys, Madurai.The program commenced with the welcome address given by B.Saravanan of Pre-Final Year, ECE . After that the Resource Person gave his presentation on 'Changing Global Scenario in the Field of Communication and Information Technology.' He started his presentation with the explanation on Wireless Communication and Wireless Networks. He further explained in detail to the students about the function and application of WiLAN, Wifi and Wimax.The students clarified their doubts in this domain and explored the scope in this area. They also discussed about the possibilities of doing project in this field. The last session of his presentation focused on fostering attitudinal skill for a successful professional life.The program came to the end with the vote of thanks proposed by B. Haritha of II year ECE
