ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH CONSISTENT EFFORT
S R Hariharan Babu and N. Vidhushini of Electronics and Communication Engineering of 2005-2009 batch got selected in Cognizant Technology Solution (CTS), Chennai. This accomplishment is reaped through long and hard work. We congratulate both of them for their success.
During his final semester, Hariharan Babu got selected in Integrated Wireless Solution Pvt Ltd., Coimbatore, to work as a RF Engineer in Bangalore branch from 6th August 2009. On 24th December 2009, he got an On-roll job from Idea Cellular Networks Ltd to work directly under their co-ordination. But, inside his heart, he had the desire to be a part of a MNC..

According to him, he focused only on these three companies because he thought his development cycle will be good and infinite, if he get placed in one of these companies. To the question why he selected these companies, he has definite answer. In CTS there is no work pressure and one can enjoy work with ease and also life grows along one’s development. With TCS even if there is a work pressure, it will be compensated by salary in frequent months. The third one in which he needs placement is IBM. He is very well aware that as a fresher, it demands a lot. But a tremendous growth along with experience..
He wrote the Aptitude test at Bangalore Venue and got selected. Then he was asked to be ready for Technical and general hour on the next day.
“The concept which I learnt in classes, technical knowledge from staffs and general awareness about the society regarding the recession helped me to get through the technical hour” says Hariharan Babu.
On 23rd March 2010 he got confirmation from Cognizant now he is a Cognizantian. He joined with CTS on 29th March, 2010 and undergoing his training at Siruseri branch, Chennai as Programmer Analyst Trainee.
“All that I would like to say the young minds is that don’t lose hope on yourself. Keep the self-confidence. Smart work awards you a lot than the hard work. Think different. Don’t be one among ten. Choose a different path for yourself. Obey your elders, respect them and listen to them. Try, try and try.. nothing is impossible. Success follows you where you be” .
