The IET Pinkerton Lecture 2013 was held on December 4 ,2013 at Infosys Campus, Bangalore. Sir Robin Saxby, Ex-Founding CEO and Chairman, ARM Holdings plc delivered the lecture about Creating a Global Powerhouse.

Sir Robin Saxby shared insights into creating successful business, drawing from his journey at ARM – from start -up to a successful silicon IP (Intellectual Property) company. Attended students gained rich insights across a range of topics including successful business models, leadership qualities, team building and wealth creation and management.

Sanjeev Keskar, Chairman, Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) provided the Indian perspective to the theme of the lecture and also joined Sir Robin Saxby in the Q&A session.

400 professionals across industries and students from engineering and management streams from Bangalore and other cities physically attended the lecture. 40 Students from Vickram College of Engineering, Enathi have been attending these lectures for three consecutive years.150 attendees from allover India and globally turned in to the live web cast.

The IET Pinkerton Lecture 2013 ended on an inspiring note - “You can always get what you want, if you try, try and try and follow your passion”.
