Vickram Football Championship 2012

The State level football tournament for schools was held on 29th and 30th November 2012. 18 team from various schools, actively participated with full vigour. Er.M.K.S.Sreenivasan. M.E. , Chairman, Vickram schools and colleges inaugurated the tournament. At the end of first day, American Hr.Sec.School, Madurai, Kajamiant.Hr.Sec. School Trichy, Rani seethai ammal Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Chidambaram and Sports Hostel Hr.Sec.School, Kishnagiri were qualified for the semi-final match, which was held on 30th November 2012.

     Rani Seethai Ammal Mat.Hr.Sec.School,Chidambaram bagged the Vickram Trophy after a tough fight . It has won a cash award of Rs.5000 along with the winners trophy. Kajamiant.Hr.Sec. School Trichy bagged the runners up trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 3000. American Hr.Sec.School, Madurai, secured third position and was offered with a cash prize of Rs:1000.

    The most thrilling Championship tournament came to a fine closure with the valedictory function in the presence of our Chairman Er. M.K.S. Sreenivasan. M.E, The support by Er. M.S.Vikram Joint Secretary , Dr.S.Kathirrvelu, Principal and Dr.S.Nagarajan, Administrative Officer and the Physical Education department was very much commendable.
