Dengue Fever Awareness for B.Ed, & M.Ed Students

Vickram College of Teacher Training conducted Health Awareness Programme on 7^th March 2013, in the college campus. Headed by the Principal Mrs. T.Premalatha, this programme was graced by the presence of Chief guest Dr.Sudhakaran – Entomologist and special invitee, Mr.Ramar – Health Inspector, Poovanthi.

The Chief guest gave a special talk on “Dengue Fever”. He explained with the help of PPT, about the vector (Aedes) characteristics, its life cycle, the methods of destroying the Aedes, Dengue Prevention mechanism and the protection of human life from Dengue. There was an interactive session and questions raised by the students were answered by Dr.Sudhakaran and Mr.Ramar. 50 B.Ed, & M.Ed., students attended the awareness programme and reaped the benefit.
