International Level Symposium in France

Dear friends,

I would like to share some interesting information and facts about my France visit during my 3rd year of under graduation. (July 7-14, 2008).

The inspiration to present paper at international level came from my Physics teacher " Ms. Shamima" - who was working as a lecturer in our college. My first international presentation was in Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Kanyakumari during my 1st year on Nano Technology's Impact in India.

When I showed my certificate to my department, I could see the satisfaction and happiness in them. But more than everything , there was one person who asked me to try presenting papers Abroad.

I worked for more than 6 months to get a theoretical concept ready along with all supporting data analysis.

MOLMAT- 2008 was the association which gave me a chance to present paper at international desk. I was the only UG student to be there among the people with grey hairs distinguishably senior to me. That in fact drove their attractions on me.

I was so eager to take off. I was scheduled to take of on 7Th July, 2008. Booked my ticket at the last moment after getting Visa 2 days before taking off.

My paper was about " Nano Computing".I had an unforgettable one week in Paris and Toulouse, France. Moving to international desk not only gave me a trademark, it also helped me in:

1) Liaison with senior professors, scientists, and business people.

2) Knowledge sharing and culture. I could see people in Paris  very brisk at 6 am travel ling to office and shutting their door , hitting their sack at 8.30 pm.

I was back to India on 14Th July, 2010 and was endowed with appreciations. During that time, I was quizzing myself. "Am I worth going to France?" " Did I do a tremendous work that has taken me to stand among big scientists?"

The answer I got was a BIG NO. That answer made me work hard. That effort also drove me to publish many papers in IEEE, NTSI and other.

When I ask myself the same question now, I am getting the same answer. " A BIG NO".

Here is the simple formula to achieve things:

1) When somebody prices you, feel that you are not worth for it. Never take a bow.

2) When somebody contradicts you or oppose you, feel responsible.

3) Dig positive from every negations. ( there cannot be current without -ve charge).

4) NEVER GET SATISFIED WITH WHAT YOU ARE. Know what you want to be. Work for it.

5) Dream .... Dream.... Dream...... I always do that. it should not make you sleep.

6) Be humble. Admire others. (only their good)

Thanks to my college. I would not have discovered myself if I were in  some other college. I got a chance to be in touch with Mr. Raj Santosh, our college secretary. One of the best manager I have ever seen.

The huge driving force behind me was my parents - who never opposed what ever I do, my dept staffs and Suja madam - Who supported in all dry periods of my education, Vijay sir - Whom I admire a lot and the list goes on .

I learned something from everyone and that has helped me a lot.

Visiting any countries abroad will be a dream for any middle class student. But it came true for me through my college support.

Our college funded me in many occasions - France Visit (2 lakhs), International conference in Kanyakumari (Rs 2000), IIT- Delhi (Rs 3000).

Thank you VickramCE...

I was not the best when I was in school. I was a last bench student. I never passed in more than3 subjects during my schoolings.

You made me discover myself.
