There was a Common Recruitment Drive which was conducted in our campus on 15^th February 2014. It was organized for the benefit of Final Year Students of Circuit Branches of nearly 30 colleges stretching from Madurai to Kanyakumari, who had taken up Skill Edge Programme of ICTACT. Nearly 6 companies participated in the selection process –

• SIM Technologies
• Digital Nirvana Information Systems
• KGISL
• Cogzitel Technologies.

626 Final Year Students from nearly 30 colleges attended the drive and participated in the selection process of the companies

Sutherland Global Services:

The selection process consisted of Group Discussion, Telephonic Interview, Written Test, & Final Interview. 7 candidates were selected for Support Services, and issued offer letters in the late evening, by the HR Official; the monthly salary ranges from Rs.9000/- to Rs.10000/-. Following is the list of selected candidates:

KGISL: This IT Company had the following recruitment strategy – Written Test, GD, & Interview. The recruitment is for the position of Process Associates. And the monthly salary is Rs.115000/-. Following are the three candidates, who got selected:

Cogzital Technologies: This IT Company recruited students for Mobile Application Developers. The selection process consisted of the following stages: Written Test, GD, & Interview. In the training period, the monthly stipend is Rs.7500/-. After confirmation, the monthly salary is from Rs.9000/- to Rs.10000/-. The following 30 candidates got selected:

SIM Technologies recruited for the position of Trainee Engineers. Their selection process consisted of Written Test, GD, & Interview. The monthly salary is Rs.12500/-. Following are the 9 candidates, who got selected:

Digital Nirvanan Information Systems, conducted Written Test, and short-listed the following 9 candidates, who would be called up to the company in Coimbatore for Final Interview:

Integra Software Services conducted the written test, and, after evaluation of the test papers, the following students have been short-listed for the Final Interview to be held in the company premises in Pondichery:

Towards the end of the event, offer letters were issued to selected students by the company authorities, in the presence of Sri Vijayshrenivas, Director of Vickram College of Engineering, and Sri L. Suresh Babu, Deputy GM, ICTACT.

There was a Pooled Drive for CTS organized by Anna University at Kongunadu College of Engg, Trichy District, on 21^st & 22^nd December 2013. Nearly 1200 students from 60 engineering colleges of this region participated in this recruitment campaign. The number of eligible students from our college is 86 – 16 from EEE, 35 from ECE, 26 from CSE, & 9 from IT. Of these 86 eligible candidates from our college, 43 students attended this drive. 

The selection process consisted of 4 stages – 1) GD, 2) On-line Aptitude Test, 3) Technical Interview, & 4) HR Interview.

Of the 43 students of our college, who participated in the Group Discussion, 34 of our students got short-listed for the next round. These 34 students then appeared for the on-line test on Aptitude, in which 10 of our students got short-listed. These 10 students attended the Technical Interview, and 5 of them got short-listed for the Final Interview on the second day.
