There was an On-Campus Recruitment Drive organized in our college on 23^rd April 2014. The Company for which recruitment took place was 123 RPO Pvt Ltd – an IT Recruiter for the USA, & Canada, located in Bangalore. The eligible students are 167 – 43 from EEE, 70 from ECE, 40 from CSE, & 14 from IT. The campaign began with 67 participating students in Ramanujam Conference Hall – 13 students from EEE, 28 students from ECE, 18 from CSE, & 8 from IT. The eligibility criterion was that Final Year Students of all Disciplines with 50% of Marks and above, from 10^th Std., 12^th Std., to B.E./B.Tech (I Sem to VII Sem) could participate. Arrears to the maximum of three papers were considered for placement. The Selection Process consisted of 3 stages – 1) Written Aptitude Test (Logical Reasoning & English), 2) Technical Interview, & 3) Final Interview. First of all, there was a Pre-Placement Talk, which consisted of Power-point Slides, about the Company, and its Activities. 67 Final Year Students appeared for the Aptitude Test. The test papers were evaluated. 44 Students got short-listed. These 44 students appeared for the Technical Interview, in which the following 19 students got selected for the Final Interview to be conducted in the Company Premises:

There was a Pooled Recruitment Drive conducted in our campus for HCL Technologies Ltd – Business Services on 25^th April 2014. The recruitment was open to Final Year Students of all Disciplines from Engineering Colleges. All engineering colleges, located in the southern districts were contacted to send their students to participate in the drive.

The recruitment was for Technical Support Officers. The stages of selection were 1) Screening Test (JAM Round), 2) Group Discussion, 3) Personal Interview, & 4) Final Interview in the company premises. The HR Executives – Mr S. Rahul, & Ms Sony Kumari addressed the students about their organization, and its growth over the past few years, and the method of recruitment.

Nearly 369 students from nearly 70 engineering colleges participated in the selection process. In the JAM Round(Just A Minute), all the 369 students participated. Only 70 students got short-listed. These short-listed students had GD and Personal Interview in the afternoon session. Towards the end of the evening, the selection process came to an end. 30 students got selected, and were issued Letters of Intent. These 30 students will be called up to the Company for Final Interview. Following is the list of 30 selected students, who were issued Letters of Intent on 25^th April 14:

These 30 selected candidates will work as Technical Support Officers, in HCL B Serv, after the completion of Final Interview in the company premises, on an annual salary of Rs. 1.8 lakhs. Their work will be in rotational night shifts. Doorstep Pick-up and Drop will be available to them during their 5 days of work in a week.
