There was an On-Campus Recruitment Drive conducted in our campus on 4^th May 2011 for the benefit of our Final Year Students. The company which came for recruitment is Piramid Communications Pvt Ltd. -- a telecommunication company from Hyderabad. The selection process consisted of 3 stages – 1) Test on Communicative Ability, 2) General Aptitude Test, & 3) HR Interview. The HR officials were Sri Kumar, HR Manager, Piramid Communications Pvt Ltd., & Ms Himani Reddy, HR Staff, Zambac, Bangalore. Of the 78 students who appeared for the first test, 47 got shortlisted, after valuation of the answer scripts. These selected candidates underwent another test on Technical Aptitude, and 19 students emerged successful in the second stage. The HR interview was held in the evening, in which 10 of our students got selected for appointment. The selected students were issued offer letters in the presence of our Principal and faculty members of the Department of Training & Placements.

In the On-Campus Recruitment Drive for Geo Precision Castings conducted on 29^th March 2011,

133 Final Year Students of Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg., EEE, & ECE appeared for the Written Aptitude Test, and had a one-to-one interaction with the company officials, who are Sri Jeevaandhan, Sri C. Gowtham, Sri Madhan Mohan, & Sri J.R. Soundara Raj from the HR Department of the company.

After evaluation of the performance of the students, the following 32 students have been shortlisted for the next two stages of selection process, which are 1) Medical Test, & 2) HR Interview to be conducted in the company premises – the details of which will be communicated to the shortlisted students subsequently by the company authorities.
