About the Programme:
Two day National Level Seminar and Exhibition on “Nuclear Energy” sponsored by the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP), Govt of India, is organized jointly with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Anna University Regional Office, Madurai. The programme is envisaged to provide awareness on the advantages of exploiting nuclear energy for power production. The participants would be made aware of the multilevel safeties available with the reactors used for power generation.

Reputed scientists from KKNPP would grace the programme through highly informative lectures on nuclear energy, and their safety measures. Attractive models, posters and photographs on nuclear energy sourced from the KKNPP would be on display and duly explained by KKNPP scientists.

Various competitions conceptualized on the importance of Nuclear energy have been planned. The competitions include paper presentation, poster presentation, model display, drawing, poetry, skit, short film and quiz programme. These competitions are meant for students of all streams. To Encourage students participation, KKNPP awards attractive prizes and certificates. Faculty members are also welcome to participate in the Paper Presentation and Poster Presentation.
