Scope of the Workshop
Android is quickly becoming one of the most popular tools for mobile application development. Android Applications easily provides a range of benefits for mobile application developers. It is easy to handle and implement; moreover it is an open-source based. The Software Development Kit facilitated by Android assists the developers to a great extent and one can start working on applications in an instant and adapt to it.
This workshop is based on Android Operating System & its application development conceptualized by some top industry professionals.
Mobile phones are now working as pocket fit PCs because of the advent of great user-friendly operating systems like the Google’s Android. This platform is based on Linux Kernel. Applications can be created for the smart phones without any hassle. There is usually a high ROI involved too. Hence, many mobile phone application developers are coming to the fore and offering services at extremely affordable rates.

CSIR Sponsored Seminar on Clean Room Software Engineering for Zero-Defect Software  - 1 to 5 October 2012.

Course Goal :

The Seminar on “Clean Room Software Engineering for Zero Defect Software”(CSEZDS'12) will provide a forum for discussions on theoretical and practical aspects of model-based Software Engineering, exchanging research ideas and challenges, exploring possible solutions and future directions. The main goal of this seminar is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry.

The advancement of technology has brought software closer and more  accessible to everyone in day-to-day life. Technological advancement in software  has played a major roles in performing tasks for different purposes and fields in  our society. The pressure to fulfill and handle the required tasks of software is  growing. Zero-defect is a goal that should be pursued by all parties involved in  software business from the software supplier to the software customer.

The objective of the seminar is to provide a forum where researchers and practitioners can report and discuss the state-of-the-art in Software Engineering(SE). The seminar will focus on all aspects of SE, including efficacy of Software Engineering methods and technologies; design and structure of software development. The seminar also includes hands-on session on various SE tools.
