Our College made an application to the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, on 16th March 2012, seeking accreditation for B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering, & B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

Following this representation from our end, a team of experts from NBA visited our campus in the month of April 2013, and made an investigation of our infrastructure and of our activities in our college.

The experts from NBA team went to each of the departments of our college, and made their study about the quality of our activities, by looking into all our records maintained in all departments.

In the process of their assessment, the NBA Team members interacted with staff, students, alumni, and parents, and got to know the standards of our services to our students.

They got impressed with our educational services, and issued us an order, granting accreditation for a period of 2 years - for B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering, & B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, through a communication: F.No.33-61-2010-NBA, dated 6th December 2013.

Through NBA Accreditation, our quality of services has been recognized at the international level, and this credit has come to us, thanks to the dedicated services of our teaching faculties, and their sincere efforts in documentation of various events which were conducted in our campus through their leadership.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Today, concrete has virtually dominated the field of construction and the technology. The material has adapted itself continuously to the changing necessities of the construction industry, satisfying the numerous demands of engineers. Various analytical techniques are applied to study the effect of these parameters for quality control purposes. The workshop aims at providing a forum for field engineers, faculty, UG/PG students of various Institutes, and researchers for upgrading their knowledge on recent advances in the field of concrete technology. The workshop is designed in such a way that it will enlighten the participants with both theoretical and practical aspects of concrete technology.

OBJECTIVES:

· To expose the recent advancements in concrete technology such as high performance concrete, self compacting concrete, use of waste materials in concrete, chemical and mineral admixtures.

· To discuss the advances in concrete making materials and concrete mix design.

· To create awareness and distribute knowledge related to durability design of concrete structures.

· To motivate young researchers and faculty members in the field of concrete technology.
