About the Workshop
The field of RF/Microwave engineering is experiencing a tremendous growth globally. It continues to have great influence in important applications such as radar, remote sensing, remote control, sensors, navigation, surveillance, electronic warfare, radiometers, plasma research, and imaging. Integration density of antennas and circuits in microwave multilayer modules have reached a new level requiring accurate full wave EM simulation techniques to create a reliable design within one or few design cycles. ANSYS HFSS software is essential for the design of high-frequency and high-speed component design. It offers multiple state-of the-art solver technologies based on either the proven finite element method or the well-established integral equation method. This workshop on EM Design of Microwave/RF Modules using HFSS creates awareness on HFSS software tool which helps to develop electromagnetic design in practice. It will lead the participants step-by-step through creating, solving, and analyzing the results of RF modules. This workshop enables discussion and presentation of the latest RF and Microwave technology.
Objectives:
The objective of the Workshop is to provide a unique forum that brings engineers from industry in the area of RF and Microwave packaging technologies. It adopts a practical hands-on approach to quickly familiarize engineers and students new to this subject through the use of the latest RF simulation tools. It will provide the technical community with insights from technology experts on Microwave/RF needs and its future trends.
