About the Workshop:

In recent days, the need for failure analysis is the most important one to be considered that  ensures safety. Non-destructive Testing (NDT) is the best tool for identifying flaws, cracks and defects in a cost effective manner. It offers many employment opportunities, particularly in oil, power, mining and co-generation industries that use the NDT inspection. This workshop is designed with the objectives to familiarize the participants with various NDT tools and improving the knowledge in different NDT techniques, through demonstrations by experts. The hands-on training session will enhance the technical skills of participants.

Objectives: 

To guide the mechanical and civil engineers to choose appropriate tools for the particular defect detection in pipes, structures, mechanical components etc.

To cover the techniques such as Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic particle testing, Dye penetrant testing and Radiographic testing.

To provide hands-on training in various NDT  Techniques.
