The world is FLAT today because of advances in fibre optic communication (FOC). FOC industry has been enjoying amazing growth for over 15 years. This is due to both technological advancements and market demand. Since its inception in late sixties, the FOC has gone through many revolutions. The FOC technology has opened gates to many modern applications for information technology. The seminar covers topics starting from very basics of the FOC to the most advanced topics in this area.
