There was an on-campus drive organized for Final Year Students of EEE & ECE for a Garment-Manufacturing Company called Penguin Apparels P Ltd on 18th Feb 2014. The recruitment was for the position of Machine Maintenance Engineer. In the first 3 months, there will be on training, when a monthly stipend of Rs.7500/- will be given. After the training period, the candidates will be absorbed as Machine Maintenance Engineer, on a monthly salary of Rs.9000/- to Rs.10,000/-.
Totally 13 students attended the selection process – 11 students from EEE, & 2 students from ECE. The event began with a presentation by the company officials about the nature of the job. In the Interview conducted by HR Executive Sri J. Xavier & the Maintenance Officer Srimathi S. Susila Devi, the following candidates got selected:
