There was an On-Campus Recruitment Drive for Susee Group of Companies held on 5^th Feb 2013. The recruitment was for Sales Consultants to work in their Branch Offices across Tamilnadu – preferably in cities like Madurai, Trichy, Salem, etc. The eligibility was that Final Year Students of B.E. Mech/EEE/Other Branches, if interested in sales career, could attend. The monthly salary is Rs.12,500/- including all allowances. The recruitment process consisted of Written Test & Interview. The selection process was conducted by Ms. Uma Thenappan, DGM – HR, with the help of her staff – Sri S. Abuthahir, Sr. Manager – Sales, Sri M. Ersath Ali, Sr Executive – HR, Ms Meena Balasubramanian, Sr. Executive – HR, & Ms T. Aishwarya, Management Trainee – HR.

First of all, Ms Uma Thenappan made a presentation about the company, its growth over the years, and prospects for career improvement in her organization. She explained how some sales professionals earn more than Rs.60,000/- through getting incentives for the sales of cars. Then, Written Test was conducted in two halls, when 42 students participated – Civil: 2, Mech: 12, EEE: 18, ECE: 3, CSE: 6, & IT: 1. Initially, when the pre-placement talk was made, there were as many as 51 students in the Core Block Conference Hall – Civil: 2, Mech: 12, EEE: 18, ECE: 7, CSE: 8, & IT: 4.

In the Written Test, 16 students got short-listed. These 16 students were interviewed in the afternoon by Ms Uma Thenappan, & Mr. S. Abuthahir. Finally, the following four students got selected and were given offer letters.
