There was a pooled recruitment drive for Zoho Corporation (P) Ltd., held on 7th & 8th January 2013. The selection process consisted of 1) Written Test, 2) Technical Interview & 3) HR Interview. The recruitment was for 10 positions as software engineers from among the passed-out candidates of engineering colleges, & for 10 positions as project trainees from among the final year students of MCA/M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech.

Nearly 983 students from 103 engineering colleges participated. Participants also came from 17 arts and science colleges, and they numbered up to 57. Totally 1030 students – both students who passed-out in 2012, and students passing-out in 2013, attended the recruitment process of the company. The recruitment team consisted of 6 members from Zoho Corporation, who were headed by the HR Manager Sri Sohail.

 

Written Test was conducted in batches for all the participants. First of all, the selection process went on for project trainees in the forenoon session. In the afternoon session, the selection process was held for software engineers for the passed-out candidates. The answer scripts of the candidates were evaluated, and the short-listed candidates were informed to come for the technical interview on the second day, which was 8th Jan 2013. Finally, the following two candidates got selected as Software Engineer Trainees:
