There was an On-Campus Recruitment Drive organized on 16th Feb 2012 for a Manufacturing Industry – Indaid Engineers Pvt Ltd, based in Chennai. The CEO of the Company Sri D. Narayanan, addressed the Final Year Students of Mech Engg., and EEE, about the birth and growth of the industry over the past 28 years, and of the products manufactured in their plants.
53 Final Year Students from our Engineering College and 34 Final Year Diploma Students from Vickram Polytechnic College participated in the event. After the evaluation of answer scripts, 11 students got shortlisted for the interview from Vickram College of Engineering, and 5 students from Vickram Polytechnic College.
After the interview, the following two students got selected for appointment in Indaid Engineers, Chennai, as Graduate Engineer Trainees on a monthly stipend of Rs. 10, 000/-. After one year of apprenticeship, they will be absorbed as Graduate Engineers on an attractive salary package.
