There was an on-campus recruitment drive for Sutherland Global Services for Final Year Students of 1) Vickram College of Engineering, & 2) Vickram Polytechnic College, held on 5^th Feb 2011. The recruitment was for the position of Technical Support Executive on a salary of Rs.1.75 lakhs per annum.

101 students from Vickram College of Engineering, & 88 students from Vickram Polytechnic College participated in the drive. The selection process consisted of two stages – namely, 1) Group Discussion, & 2) HR Interview. Of the 189 students who participated in Group Discussion, 20 students from Vickram College of Engineering, & one student from Vickram Polytechnic College got shortlisted for the interview. The selection process was handled by 2 HR Managers from Sutherland – 1) Mr. Sundar Madhavan, & 2) Mr. Mohammed Ghouse.

The HR Interview was held in the afternoon for all the 21 shortlisted candidates. Finally, after the interview, 13 got selected, and were issued offer letters in the presence of our Principal Dr. S. Kathirrvelu, & our Dean Prof. M. Palanikumar, and placement officers.
